Pallet shed built by Dave Mathia (Source: Farm Show Magazine)
This inventive Canadian made himself a garden shed using pallets and 2 X 4’s and even managed to meet the local code when he didit.
According to Dave Mathia, of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada, his pallet shed had to conform to local ‘shed project’ guidelines, but because he built it on skids, he was not required to get a building permit.
The shed took him about twice as long to build as a project that didn’t rely on recycled pallets, but he said the point was to do it without spending a lot of money. The shed was made almost entirely of recycled materials, including 47 pallets, and came in a t a cost of just under $100.00
